The Hawthorne Cancer Resource Center Bowlathon, an annual event hosted by the Senior Friends Monday Morning Bowling League, took place at Bowl America Southwest Lanes on May 13th, 2024. This year's Bowlathon was a resounding success, uniting 51 enthusiastic bowlers from the community, including participants from Bowl America Management and other generous contributors. Together, they showed their support for the Hawthorne Cancer Foundation, raising an impressive $1,410.00.
Since its establishment in 2003, the Hawthorne Bowlathon has been consistently successful, raising a total of $17,589.60 to date in support of the Hawthorne Cancer Foundation's essential initiatives.
The Senior Friends Bowling League is honored to maintain a strong partnership with the Hawthorne Cancer Foundation, recognizing the Foundation's crucial role in assisting patients in their fight against cancer.
As Executive Director of the Hawthorne Cancer Foundation, I extend sincere congratulations and gratitude to the Senior Friends Monday Morning Bowling League. Their steadfast commitment over two decades has significantly benefited the cancer community, the Hawthorne Cancer Foundation, and our Resource Center at Johnston-Willis Hospital.
