The Senior Friends Monday Morning Bowling League held its annual Hawthorne Cancer Resource Center Bowlathon on Monday, May 8th, 2023, at Bowl America Southwest Lanes.
This year's Bowlathon proved to be yet another triumph, bringing together 51 enthusiastic bowlers from the community, including participants from Bowl America Management and other generous contributors. Together, they rallied their support for the Hawthorne Cancer Foundation, resulting in a remarkable total income of $1,075.00.
Since its inception in 2003, the Hawthorne Bowlathon has been an incredible success, having raised a grand total of $16,179.60 to support the Hawthorne Cancer Foundation's vital work.
The Senior Friends Bowling League takes immense pride in its enduring partnership with the Hawthorne Cancer Foundation. They deeply value the Foundation's role in helping patients bravely combat this dreadful disease.
On behalf of the Hawthorne Cancer Foundation, as its Executive Director, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and gratitude to the Senior Friends Monday Morning Bowling League for their unwavering dedication and two decades of support for the cancer community, the Hawthorne Cancer Foundation, and our Resource Center located within the Johnston-Willis Hospital.
